Three Kruger Park Economy Safari
Day One:
Collection from either your hotel , guest house or airport by your guide at 07h00am in the morning. We depart for the highlands of Mpumalanga passing fields of corn, cattle, sheep and our ever increasing coal mining industry en-route to the town of Belfast.
Stops will be made along the way for breakfast and the bathroom as we make our way inland towards Dullstroom, Lydenberg, Ohrigstad and then onwards towards the town of Phalaborwa in time for lunch. After lunch we enter the KrugerNational Park and start our game drive up towards Letaba and then on to the camp of Mopani which is home for the evening.
We arrive late afternoon in time to check in to your chalet, and enjoy a swim, before sundowners in the bar overlooking the Pioneer Dam. Dinner is served at 07h00pm in the restaurant.
Day Two:
You will be woken by your guide at 05h00am in the morning, after which you may join him for a cup of coffee, tea and biscuits, before departing on your Open Safari Vehicle for a days game viewing in this magnificent park.
We visit water holes and low lying reveries and open savannah, hoping to spot as many of the big 5 as possible before breakfast. Breakfast is served at one of the camps at 08h30am, and then we continue on our exciting game drive.
In summer, due to the heat we head back to camp for a mid day siesta and depart again late afternoon for another drive, but in winter we are able to stay out longer and explore the northern section of this magnificent park.
We return to camp at sunset in time to enjoy a shower before a traditional Barbeque is enjoyed under the stars. After dinner at 08h00pm we depart on a night safari, hoping to spot a leopard or two and find our resident lion out on the prowl. We return to camp at 10h30pm in time to enjoy a good nights rest.
Day Three:
Once again you will be woken bright and early in time for a quick cuppa, before we bid Mopani farewell and make our way towards the camp of Letaba for breakfast, game viewing along the way.
Enjoy a buffet breakfast overlooking the Letaba river, and spot the resident bush buck wandering around the camp. After breakfast we stop off at the ElephantMuseum and view the 7 largest elephant that roamed the KrugerNational park. We bid Letaba farewell and make our way slowly back up to Phalaborwa and on towards Johannesburg arriving late afternoon:
